Our refuge and strength
October is the month to reflect Christian Reformation in the Middle Ages, led by the people who followed not traditions or myths, but only the word of God written in the Bible.
We read altogether Romans 1:16-17 where Paul wrote his pride in the gospel he was commanded by Jesus Christ to proclaim, and clearly quoted the word written in the Bible that the righteous shall be live by faith.
And we talked in detail about Psalm 46, which is often called Luther's Psalm, for it is said Martin Luther loved these verses. "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble(46:1)". What shall we do then? "Be still, and know that I am God(46:10)" The actions for Christian Reformation was to take away majesty from men from human society and give it back to God. In our daily life we must make the reformation within hear hearts - shift our eyes away from our own matters but to fix it at our God, Jesus crucified.
